Little Projects - Starter Armies

As your average Epic enthusiast knows (around this side of the globe anyway) finding players is your biggest hurdle.

Since starting Epic I've built a number of small starter armies for some people i know; usually as side projects to whatever else I've had going on.


Marines - 'dark hands'
I think this was the first starter specific batch i built. It's a bit more comprehensive than absolutely required but was aimed at being versatile enough to play 2k points after the intro/learning stage was done.

I actually printed out two sets of these. One as a gift and one to keep as a 'loaner army' for demoing at FLGS etc.


Marines - 'death knights'
Very much a starter sized set... and people really seem to like green!!
I usually ask people what colour they want their army to be and if they're into it to look though 'chapter lists' on the net for shiggles.

Marines - 'rust wolves'
Another basics set. Around this time i was also painting up a halo: ground command army which had a very similar palette.

Knights - 'house decam'
May have been renamed since. An alternate faction for the 'dark hands' owner to explore non-marine gameplay. Was a chance to have some fun with the colour scheme.

And i think that's it so far.
