Photon... Pushing the Friendship - Epic Eldar

So with the Photon working and probably enough resources I pulled the trigger on oft-demoted Eldar army.

I think i started around the 1 June and the following pic was circa 16th June. So roughly 2 weeks.

Was just steadily cranking out job after job of models - no issues, no misprints, no problems at all.

Most were probably 2-3 hour prints. The war engines (5) were about 5 hours apiece. The Revenant Titans are actually 4 prints of which i wanted the legs off 2 and the tops off the other 2... at about 10 hours per print. Maybe had 2 or 3 days off during that time.

I already have a filament print Eldar army which i've used a couple of times - so i had an idea of what i wanted to be able to use. There are plenty of alternate units that i didn't bother with though.  I've also played against Eldar numerous times, and i ran an analysis of a few years of tourny lists for other models i should at least consider.

Bottom line is i think i have enough in there to work a preferred list and then a couple of optional ideas if i want to.

So yeah, thoroughly sick of printing at the moment. I actually just finished off another project (to be discussed later) then cleaned and boxed the whole shebang this morning. yhay!!  No more printing for a while.

I still have about 1/3 litre of mixed/used/leftover resin available in case i need to do something moderately soon, but i'm down to the last bit of isopropyl in the clean up tub. And the wash tubs (post-print dunk and wash) are pretty filthy.

So that's that, hopefully that will be all my printing for the rest of the year. The Death Guard are still awaiting paint and tapping their ceramite-encased foot. Then these guys will need lots of trimming/cleanup, assembling and then painting.   So a tonne of Epic to do, plus my second hand AT stuff arrived and that's going to need looking at.    Tonnes of 6mm-esque scale projects to work on.

My Eldar will be painted in a green colour scheme when that eventually happens. Similar to the green i used for the Necromunda Van Saar crew. There was also an Eldar army that i played at Cancon that was a nice sort of forest green.

My Death Guard are a bone colour so don't want another one in that palette (that's what my filament Eldar army is (pic below)... time for a change).

Thus far i haven't even thought of the next print project... nids... chaos... don't know, and have no niggles to get something going.... hahaha.... today.

Until next time...
